Parker's later books reinforce rather than recant the account (note: he says he had downplayed his memory to avoid attention, not that the event was fabricated). Hypnosis transcripts (1973; Budd Hopkins 1993; Kathleen Marden 2019) feature in his 2019 book. He co-led the modern revival of the case with researcher Philip Mantle.
