An early US air-defense radar station near Knoxville, Tennessee, that became the central detection point for unexplained intrusions into the restricted airspace over the Oak Ridge nuclear complex (X-10, Y-12, K-25) in 1950. Notably it had been operational only a few weeks before the first radar detections. The Oak Ridge intrusions of 1950 are among the earliest radar-tracked UFO cases over an atomic facility.
