The Manises incident occurred on 11 November 1979, when a TAE Supercaravelle airliner was forced to divert to Manises (Valencia) airport in Spain after the crew reported lights pacing the aircraft, prompting a Spanish Air Force Mirage F1 scramble. It is one of Spain's best-documented aviation UFO cases and featured prominently in the later Spanish military declassification. The objects were never conclusively identified.
