[DOCUMENTED] Real person, b. 17 May 1931, Spur, Texas; former music teacher and seminary dropout. Met nurse Bonnie Nettles in 1972; the platonic pair called themselves The Two / Bo and Peep / Ti and Do, claiming to be the two witnesses of Revelation 11. [DOCUMENTED] After Nettles died of cancer in 1985 (a doctrinal crisis, since she was supposed to ascend bodily), doctrine shifted toward 'shedding' the body. Recorded 'Do's Final Exit' video Mar 1997; died with 38 followers 26 Mar 1997. Had himself castrated as part of the group's celibate asceticism.
