Held 26–28 Sep 2018 at the Lunar and Planetary Institute, the workshop assessed the state of the technosignature field, near-term assets, and NASA's possible role. The report (eds. Wright/PSU, Gelino/NExScI) catalogued past experiments, current detection limits, and future opportunities across radio, optical, and other signatures. It, plus PSETI symposia, helped renew NASA's SETI focus and preceded NASA's first SETI-specific grant in three decades (June 2020) and the Astro2020 technosignature discussion.
