The UAP Disclosure Act of 2023 was a Schumer-Rounds amendment to the NDAA proposing a presidential records-review board and government eminent-domain authority over 'recovered technologies of unknown origin' and 'non-human intelligence.' Much of its strongest language was stripped in the final FY24 NDAA. It matters as the most ambitious legislative attempt at forced UAP-records declassification to date.
