Keel's thesis that UFOs/cryptids/MIB/folklore are one shapeshifting non-human 'ultraterrestrial' intelligence operating in a 'superspectrum' beyond human perception — a paranormal claim, kin to the interdimensional hypothesis.
Non-human entities (not extraterrestrial) that assume any form and manipulate humanity across history; in The Eighth Tower (1975) Keel located them in a 'superspectrum' — EM frequencies beyond visible light — that become visible only when descending into the human visual range. Borrowed from occultist N. Meade Layne (whose 'etherians' were benign; Keel's were manipulative, Shaver-deros-like). Runs parallel to Vallée's 'control system.' Keel later disclaimed it as 'a literary device, not a theory.'.
