The Pentagon All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office rolling unclassified case-resolution reports + aggregate statistics on resolved UAP cases. As of Jan 2026 the closed-case outcomes are dominated by prosaic explanations: balloons ~52.1% (510 cases), satellites ~32.1%. AARO is the official DoD channel for UAP cases; it also feeds declassified material to NARA RG 615 (2025 Declassification Info Paper).
[OFFICIAL-RECORD] The government own resolved-case data overwhelmingly resolves to ordinary objects (balloons, satellites, drones, sensor artifacts) - the recurring official theme is DATA QUALITY, not extraterrestrial findings. Honest counterpoint (AARO Dir. Kosloski to Congress): some cases stay classified because the LOCATION/SOURCE/SENSOR method is sensitive, not because the object is extraordinary - so 'unresolved + withheld' does not equal 'exotic'.
