The National Archives statutorily-mandated UAP Records Collection (Record Group 615), established under the 2024 NDAA (P.L. 118-31, sec. 1841-1843). Records transferred from ODNI, OSD, FAA and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission; formally stood up 15 Aug 2025 with ROLLING public releases via the National Archives Catalog (a continuous accession process, not a one-time dump).
[OFFICIAL-RECORD] The first sustained, statute-driven consolidation of cross-agency UAP materials - a shift from ad-hoc FOIA to policy-mandated release. RG 615 accessions records as agencies transfer them; NARA issued federal-agency guidance on identifying/preparing/transferring UAP records. Honest framing: the COLLECTION existence + release mechanism is documented; the CONTENTS are mixed-tier and must be assessed per-document (most released material is administrative/prosaic).
