Air France 3532 / Duboc case (1994).
disputedclose_encounterGEIPAN (CNES UAP unit)
A radar-visual case: an Air France A320 crew (Capt. Jean-Charles Duboc) saw a reddish lens-shaped object with a time-coincident radar track; investigated by SEPRA/Velasco and classified GEIPAN Category D.
A COMETA flagship case. The object's identity is disputed: radar traffic was on the right vs. the object on the left, and a weather balloon crossed the track about an hour off. Officially investigated, officially unexplained (Category D) — not officially anomalous.
