Groom Lake / S-4 (Papoose).

Groom Lake is the dry-lakebed airfield (Homey Airport) of the secret USAF/CIA flight-test facility popularly called Area 51, in southern Nevada bordering the Nevada Test Site's Yucca Flat. Papoose Lake / 'S-4' is the site where Bob Lazar claimed in 1989 that the government reverse-engineers alien saucers — claims that are largely discredited and unverified. The base's real, documented work — testing the U-2, A-12 OXCART and other classified aircraft — generated many genuine UFO reports. It matters as the literal and mythological center of US crash-retrieval/saucer lore.
