This refers to the March 1967 claim that flights of Minuteman ICBMs at Malmstrom AFB, Montana went off-alert ("no-go") while security personnel reportedly saw UFOs overhead. The account was popularized by former missile officer Robert Salas. The Air Force attributed the missile faults to electrical/logic-coupler problems, and declassified records dispute any UFO connection. It is one of the most-cited 'UFOs and nukes' cases but remains contested.
