June 1992 invitation-only conference chaired by MIT physicist Pritchard & co-chaired by Mack; proceedings Alien Discussions (118+ papers).
Held June 13-17, 1992 at MIT, chaired by physicist David E. Pritchard with John Mack co-chairing, this invitation-only meeting gathered ~20 PhDs, 5 MDs, abductees, and skeptics. The 683-page proceedings Alien Discussions (eds. A. Pritchard, D. Pritchard, Mack, Kasey, Yapp) transcribed roughly 118 papers across sections on experience, evidence, psychology, hypotheses and ethics. It is regarded as the most serious academic conference convened on abductions, though it produced no replicable evidence.
