A June 6, 2025 WSJ investigation (built on AARO's 2024 analysis) documenting that the Pentagon spread UFO disinformation to protect classified programs: in the 1980s an Air Force colonel handed fake flying-saucer photos to a bar owner near Area 51 to deflect from the F-117.
The DOCUMENTED confirmation of the reverse-engineering heuristic: the densest UFO-myth site (Area 51) hid a TERRESTRIAL secret (the F-117), and the alien story was deliberately seeded as cover. The strongest official-record instance that 'where disinfo is densest, a terrestrial classified secret is nearest'.
