SCANATE ('scan by coordinate') was the early 1970s SRI/CIA remote-viewing effort that began the code-name lineage: SCANATE -> Gondola Wish (1977) -> Grill Flame (1978) -> Center Lane (1983) -> Sun Streak (1985) -> STARGATE (1991).
