Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies (SCU).

documentedresearch_orgScientific Instrumentation & Sensor Data

Volunteer analyst nonprofit (organized 2017, 501c3 2018) producing forensic case studies and peer-reviewed UAP analyses; ran the Nimitz forensic study and led the 2025 'New Science' review.

SCU is a coalition of scientists/engineers applying analytic methods to UAP cases. Its flagship output is a multi-year forensic analysis of the 2004 USS Nimitz encounter plus the peer-reviewed Nimitz flight-characteristics study. SCU members led the 34-author 'New Science of Unidentified Aerospace-Undersea Phenomena' review (Progress in Aerospace Sciences, 2025), provided talks at the AARO-AIU workshop (Aug 2025), run 'The Anomalous Review' podcast, and host an annual conference (formerly Anomalous Aerospace Phenomena Conference). The org and its peer-reviewed output are documented; specific acceleration figures carry explicit methodological caveats.
