15 Oct 1950 daylight sighting of silver bullet-shaped objects hovering near Solway Gate; Project Blue Book Unknown #819.

About 3:20 p.m. on 15 Oct 1950, AESS Trooper Edward D. Rymer, caretaker John Moneymaker and AEC Security Captain Joe Zarzecki watched two shiny silver bullet/bladder-shaped objects dive trailing smoke; one vanished, the other leveled off and hovered 5-6 ft above ground within 50-210 ft, departing and returning repeatedly. ATIC could not explain it and carried it as Unknown #819. It is one of the strongest multi-witness daylight close-encounter records of the flap.
