US joint sub-unified command (est. 1980, Fort Bragg) that commands the military's special mission units; central node of the UAP-security claim.

JSOC was created Dec 15, 1980 after Operation Eagle Claw to fix the joint command-and-control and intelligence failures of Desert One. A component of USSOCOM, it commands the tier-one special mission units (Delta, DEVGRU, 24th STS, ISA, RRC) under color-coded task forces and coordinated the 2011 bin Laden raid. Its genuine secrecy and global black-ops reach make it the unit the UAP-retrieval-security claim attaches to. No documented evidence links it to non-human craft.
