Orford Ness Lighthouse Explanation.

Skeptical thesis (Ian Ridpath) that the Rendlesham 'UFO' was a rotating lighthouse beam plus a meteor and rabbit diggings.
Ridpath argues the Halt tape's bearings (~110 deg vs the lighthouse's 99 deg magnetic) and 5-second flash period match Orford Ness ~5 km away; first-night police saw only the lighthouse, and a BBC field demonstration showed the beam visible through trees. The thesis treats three separate mundane phenomena as having been merged into one narrative. Halt disputes it; the radiation readings were background level.
