Genuine 9 Jan 1953 memo by Battelle's H.C. Cross urging delay of the Robertson Panel until Special Report 14 finished.
Discovered in Hynek's files by Jacques Vallée (1967), authenticity later confirmed by Vallée. Cross ('Pentacle') asked Wright-Pat to postpone the CIA Robertson Panel and to agree what could/couldn't be discussed. Skeptics read it as routine scheduling around the known Battelle study; others see manipulation of the government's own UFO science. Existence documented; meaning disputed.
