Hayden Planetarium astronomer and NICAP/CUFOS investigator; first investigator of the 1961 Hill case and lead investigator of the 1968 Buff Ledge case.
Webb (b. 1934) trained under J. Allen Hynek, spent ~32 years at Boston's Charles Hayden Planetarium, and served as a NICAP scientific advisor. In October 1961 he conducted the first six-hour interview of Betty and Barney Hill, later filing an expanded 60-page report. A decade later he led a five-year investigation of Buff Ledge, publishing Encounter at Buff Ledge through CUFOS, which named him its first Senior Research Associate in 1994.
