Alleged ~12-14 high-clearance UFO insiders using bird codenames; real named figures but unverified, newsgroup-embellished membership.

Coined in 1980s ufology for a supposed pool of compartmented insiders sharing UFO data. Codenames: FALCON, CONDOR (Bob Collins), OWL (Puthoff), BLUEJAY (Kit Green), PENGUIN (John Alexander), SPARROW (Moore). Membership lists mostly trace to Richard Boylan and 1990s Usenet and degenerated into an in-joke. Several listed people are real and document-connected, but the group as an organized body is unconfirmed.
